Our travels!

So far we have been meeting amazing people, been seeing Nelson,  Wellington, New Plymouth, and Rotorua. Been some nice days. Stayed a day with Thomas in Wellington, and went to a rovermeeting and learnt about pottery, then we went further to New Plymouth and my host dad's sister. Which was the sweetest and had dinner ready and opened up her house for us, was completly amazing!

Forgot to tell you what happend after Kaikoura, we had a long drive up to Nelson, and ended up going up to the center off New Zealand. Had an amazing view over the coast, and towards Abel Tasman National park, would love to go hiking in that area for a couple off days, but we are running out off time, so after one night on a nice hostel with free pudding and ice cream, we where headed towards Bluebridge Ferry and wellington. Came over to wellington late at night and went out with Thomas had some Indian food, and saw the bucket fontain. Then we had a drive up to Mount Victoria, which gave us an amazing view over all off Wellington. Next day we went to Te papa museum, and pottery class. Was nice seeing some off the people from the WSJ 2007 in England, is quite cool seeing them again. I still love them.

Then we had an extremely long drive to New plymouth, and ended up coming straight in to tea. Which was amazing! Then we had some time just talking and a movie night. Next morning we headed down to the beach, and walked on black sand beach which apparently isn't that common down here. Then we followed a coastal walkway showing us New Plymouth, before heading off towards Rotorua. Had some nice walks up there aswell. Next morning we saw many native wild birds, and headed off to see the Rainbow forrest springs, where we got to see some real Kiwis. Cool!

Now we are sitting up in Bay off plenty and got two nights here, looking forward to this, money is running low, but is still capable off doing fun stuff! :D Might even go out a little bit tonight, and look at this cities night life!

Clydevale - Wanaka - Greymouth now in Hanmer Springs! :D

Heyhey!

Has had an amazing time so far, there is some long and narrow roads, but the scenarie is just beautifull and changing all the time!

Drove out off wanaka and headed to the Glaciers, Fox and Franz Josef. We ended up doing a hike up towards Fox, and saw how beautifull it was there. Then we drove through mountains, next to the ocean, and up and down roads. I so want to go hunting or hiking here on the West Coast, I love it!!

We change drivers every couple off hours so we want be getting to sleepy, and poor Sarah was bored off sitting on the passenger seat so she wanted to drive the last bit, and after some snake roads, we ended up on a flat straight ahead road, and police stopped us. And we got a speeding ticket, and the police man tried to find other things to pin us about aswell, like the car not being functional and stuff, but it just passed a warrant of fitness, and is registred for another two months or so. So everything is alright, except he gave us a big fat speeding ticket... Not good. Butbut, we ended up in Greymouth in the end, in a beautifull backpackers called Worldtravellers lodge BBH. They had a african/indian theme all over the building, with a fire going and cosy bedrooms. So we ended up watching a nice movie and read untill far out in the night.

Etapp Greymouth to Hanmer  Springs, not that far but still far enough. Had to be out off the backpackers before 10 o`clock. So Amanda and I went for a run in the morning and saw some off Greymouth, got to have a nice look at the waves coming in from the Tasman sea, and saw some native birds, not quite sure what they are called. But they where ground birds, black with a red beak, quite cool. And I saw black swans, found that even more amazing. Then to the gym, and then packing off room, breakfast and pointing our nose towards Hanmer Springs. No speed tickets today, and nothing else. We ended up in Hanmer, a beautifull town, with some people here. We did a nice little hike to the top off Colonial hill, and then some tea, before going to the hot springs pools. Which was just amazing, now it is relaxing time before heading on to Kaikoura tomorrow, and swim with some dolphins and go whale watching!! I'm excited!!! :D

On the road again!

The first leap off our big two weeks road trip has just started. Today, Amanda, Sarah and me had our first pace off the trip and packed all our stuff in to the car, and headed off up to Wanaka.  We ended up beiing a couple off hours late leaving, but that is just because it is difficult saying goodbye! is weird knowing that I want go back after this roadtrip, and had been weird for the last couple off weeks. My head hasn't been working proparly, and it actually feels quite good being on this last part off my journey.

Has had an amazing stay down here, gotten to know amazing people, that I'm looking forward to see again! Which I will, just need some more money first! But now I'm looking forward to see the rest off this country, and then go back home and tell everybody how amazing this was, and how good experience it all has been. But most off all catch up with people back home and see my friends and family again will be wonderful :D

So we are in Wanaka, drove through the wonderful country off Roxburgh, ( where we have been waterskiing) Alexandra, and Cromwell. Up to this amazing lake surrounded by big mountains, with a little bit off snow on them at the moment. Because it is getting colder down here! We are staying in this cute little Base backpakers, and had a marvellous Tea, which was consistent off pasta, and pasta sauce :P Tomorrow we will head up to Fox Glacier, and have a look around before continuing to Hammer springs ! :D Untill we get to Kaikoura and go whale watching and dolphin swimming :D

This will be amazing ! Will try and keep posted and get photos out :D
